On the longest nights of the year, the cold settles deeper, and for too many in our community, it becomes dangerous, even deadly. This blog is written in remembrance of neighbors who are no longer with us and experienced homelessness at some point in their life.

Homelessness is often spoken about in numbers and statistics, but behind every count is a human story—a life filled with memories, struggles, relationships, and hopes. When we gather to remember those lost, we do so to affirm a simple truth: their lives mattered.
