Rooted in Service, Leading With Purpose
The Monadnock Area Transitional Shelter (MATS) is proud to be guided by a dedicated, hands-on Board of Directors. Each member of our Board is a committed volunteer, bringing passion, experience, and a shared belief in the power of local action to support those experiencing housing insecurity in our region.
This is not a ceremonial board—it’s a fully engaged, working board composed of individuals who are deeply rooted in our community and actively involved in shaping the direction, strategy, and day-to-day support of our mission. Board members contribute their time, skills, and energy to ensure that MATS can continue to provide safe, transitional housing and essential support services to families and individuals in need.
With backgrounds ranging from business and finance to education, human services, and nonprofit leadership, our Board represents a cross-section of the community. What unites them is a shared dedication to volunteer work that has real, lasting impact on the lives of their neighbors.
