While MATS is a partner of The River Center on Concord Street in Peterborough, we do not receive any funding from that organization. We also receive no funding from the federal or state governments. We are a private, 501.c3 organization; all of our funding comes from private citizens, churches, clubs, organizations, businesses and grants.
The Mission of MATS is to provide transitional housing, support and referral services to people who are homeless; to educate our community on issues of homelessness; and to advocate for solutions.
