While the MATS office is located at The River Center on Concord Street in Peterborough, we do not receive any funding from that organization; rather, we pay them rent for our space there. We also receive no funding from the federal or state governments. We are a private, 501.c3 organization; all of our funding comes from private citizens, churches, clubs, organizations,businesses and grants.
The Mission of MATS is to provide temporary housing, support and referral services to homeless persons;
to educate our community on issues of homelessness; and to advocate for possible solutions.
